i had this same problem a while back and the only way i figured out what was wrong was by taking off my air filter and spraying starter fluid into the throttle body. So try spraying starter fluid into the throttle body while cranking. if the engine fires then you probably have something wrong with your fuel system. if it doesn't fire then you probably have an issue with your spark plugs or ignition system.

    :p:p:p:p:p:p:p to you too... heheheheheh

OK This is what i want you to do.
i know you have done some of this already but please..

Have the keys in your hand and get in the truck and close the door.
put the key in the ign and double check your flashing immobilizer light that it goes out.

turn the ign on ONLY. check to see if check engine light comes on.

If this is a yes then !!!!!!!!!

    take key out of ign.

open and close the drivers door twice.

using the key fob lock the doors
using the key fob hit the unlock button twice to open all doors

insert key into ign and try to start.

that's all i can do from here.. time to get back to work...

    Too few to list.
Awesome having a Toyota Mtech in the forum but if it doesn't work, it's because you you forgot to add "pat your head and rub belly" in there somewhere. :D

Although less likely, I would also consider assessing the battery.
Do a quick swap and see. Alternator could be an issue too.

Ok then your going to have to get it somewhere for a analysis.
One more thing is I know you said you had 1/4 tank but try adding some fuel.
I was hoping your immobilizer was in limbo and the sequence sometimes wakes it up. You don't have any damage to the bottom of the tank do you?
Good luck and sorry the wake up message didn't work..

I've been preparing for that. I work up in a remote location so civilization is a ways away. I got someone to find a towing dolly, before everything closed for the long weekend. If I can't get it going by Sunday night I'll have them come up and tow me back home :(

Thanks for the help! (that goes for everyone!!)
    Every suggestion helps!

Seriously, try adding some gas, like Taoma Mike said, I have seen where a float will hang up, and register X amount of gas but be truely empty!!!! Put a gas cans worth in and see what happens.

I will try this tomorrow. I'm too far from the truck now. I know the mileage I've put since I last filled up. I'm confident my gauge is accurate.
