I spray mine with blackpaint and clear

I sprayed my headlights and tailights with black paint and clear and it looks sweet
Before:

After I painted them:

Tailights

The outcomes was pretty amazing and I am loving the new look. I sprayed it with a professional gun and i did two layers on the front and three in the back.

Tell me what you guys think.

alittle old school tip i can pass along...

back in the day when i restored cars, the arm rests, cluster trim, etc were always chrome plated. to save money and speed up time at the chromer we cleaned up all parts to be re-chromed. What I found to work (but takes alittle time, but cleans all the chrome off of plastic) soak the chrome pieces in a bucket of water with powdered TIDE...the laundry detergent. I dont recall the ratio< but i know we used alot of the powdered soap in a 5 gallon bucket. It worked great back then and it still should work great now

No fogging. Used the recommended sealant to seal around the seam after putting it back together.
