I bought my 05 x-runner recently, and it came with a "hot" air intake- it looks like a home-made version where a pipe extends from the intake valve back toward the back of the engine to a K&N type cone filter.

Fortunately, the previous owner gave me the original intake assembly, but it seems to be missing a hose (or something) that connects to a plastic outlet right before the intake valve.

    From the throttlebody cleaning thread:
    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/technical-chat/94203-how-throttle-body-cleaning-2005-v6.html
The 13th picture has the arrow pointing almost exactly at the outlet I'm talking about. What kind of hose is that? Can I easily find a replacement at the local Autozone, etc? Where does it connect to from that outlet?

Are there any other hoses I'll need?

    Thanks

    Thanks!

Looks like the missing hose is the "Breather hose." So where does the other end of it go to?

I guess the other hose in question is the vacuum hose. Where does that one go to from the intake assembly?

So would both of these hoses likely to still be on my truck? There's no hose connect to the current "Hot" air intake tho...
