Help! I have a Tacoma Crew Cab V6 4wd manufactured 8/06 and both rear door lock actuators as wells as the passenger front actuator have gone bad. I've replaced the driver door actuator about a year ago.
I ordered the rear actuators (Part Nos: DLA178 & DLA179) but they are the wrong parts it appears. The rear door lock housing/actuator are about twice the size of the parts ordered and it looks pretty definite that the ordered parts will not fit within the existing lock housing... the electrical connections are not even in the right place. Everywhere I look online and in any diagrams it shows the parts I received... not the same as what is currently on the truck.
Does anyone have any experience with this or know where I might find the right part to put these locks back in service? Thanks for your help!
