In the market for a topper and I've found a used one that's currently on a 1st Gen double cab tacoma.

Will it fit on my '12 DCSB?

It will fit, barely. You will probably have to remove the left and right bed rails to clamp it down. They just screw on, put the screws back in for safe keeping. You may have to shove the topper back away from the cab due to the angle of the cab an inch. I sawed my rails off a few inches and reinstalled them.

If you are willing to settle for a less than perfect fit and the topper is cheap enough, you can make it work. Otherwise, keep searching for a topper for a second. generation.
