Anyone have recommendations for a good quality grease gun that doesnt piss grease everywhere.

I've had a couple shit quality grease guns from autozone and Napa. One had piss poor chinese threads which stripped out after the first use. The other just fucking broke (handle snapped off)

So anyone have ideas on grease guns that dont suck horribly?

I would be interested in this topic as well. Last one I had leaked all over the place after the first time i used it. I tossed it cause grease went everywhere whenever i touched it. POS.

Lincoln makes a good product but I really can't see owning a pneumatic or battery powered grease gun for the garage...

I've got a (walks to garage) "Pro Lube" pistol grip out there currently leaking Mobil Synthetic grease out the plunger handle.....I wouldn't recommend it.

EDIT: meaning it is leaking oil from the grease out the plunger handle, not grease...I just wrap a bag around it...

According to a bunch of large machinery/tractor forums, they say either Alemite or Lincoln

Lincoln for both hand pump and powered versions,12 & 18 volt. 12 volts start at $180 while 18's are $230...full kits and a few tubes of grease...

Only time we replace a hand pump is if it gets poorly maintained or run over ...and the powa ones get updated batteries and /or rebuilt...Lincoln is very good about parts....

Our trucks and smaller equipment use the hand pumps while the larger equipment uses "Powa" due to the large amount of greasing being done..

My "Mack Office" will be getting an 18 volt one in October and it will also be used on the Tacoma....I am getting old and need to make "Life easy":p

TOP QUALILTY grease is worth the extra $$$$$.....we use either Mobil Synthetic or HD Red.....both do well for our "Big Toys" so I know it helps the Tacoma ....

If it is made in China, Taiwan, Ubangy, timbuktu, I don't care what American name is on it, it is probably trash.

I had to finally replace the flex hose on mine after 30 years but it does not squirt, piss or anything else. Made in AMERICA.

Lincoln. Mine have pumped somewhere in the neighbourhood of a tacoma's weight in grease, and still work great. Storing your grease gun in a cool place will cut down on oozing.
