I think that the carrier bearing is the root of the issue (especially since those that go Tom Woods seem to eliminate the issue). I don't have this problem. I thought I did, but they are saying that I may have a defective rim or tire now. So, here we go.... :P

Keep reading the linked thread. I'm starting to believe it's the combination of a soft pillow block AND a spline on 4x4's. Hardly any 4x2's are complaining.
