Hey TW...I need a hand. I am trying to follow the "how to" found here

I have a 2012 double cab so the wiring looks different than in the 5th pick of babyboi's write up.

Does anyone know where I can find a wiring diagram of just the power window switches on the double cab?

    thanks

Just did this on my 05. Great feature to have and super simple install. I have it wired to my viper alarm too. no more running outside in the rain to roll the windows up!

One thing I dont really advise is putting the module in the door like the guide says. I put mine up under the kick panel close to where the wiring goes out to the door. Getting the wires you need through the seal between cabin and door is a bit tricky but if you have a large zip tie you can feed it from inside the door to the inside of the truck then just tape the wires to it. Worked for me anyways, not sure if they changed the wiring tunnel for the 12's

    Good luck with the install!

I put mine in the door, but that's because its sealed with Dynamat® and water can't get to it. But if your door is not sealed, then yes as stated above you should try go install it in the kick panel or make it waterproof somehow.

By the way, I tried grounding the module to my door as shown in the write up pics. The door is a direct ground and reads as ground when tested, however I had problems with my windows going up/down very slow or sometimes even stopping mid way. After much testing, I finally ran 2 heavy gauge wires through the door boot and attached to ground by the steering column. It worked much better after that. Just remember, this particular module uses ground for its entire use. Its a rare mod where ground is more important than power (there both always important but you get my point). I did not use a tr7 module because I connected it to my alarm. Anyways, just some pointers for you. Good luck.
