Do you connect the blue/white amp remote wire from the head unit (Pioneer AV-8400bh) to the blue/white amp remote on the Metra harness, and then splice in the amp remote wire from the actuall amplifier? Or is it just head unit to amplifier leaving the Metra wire unused? Does this make sense? Thanks

So just connect amplifier to head unit remote wire?

I also need to connect a remote wire from my alarm to a remote wire? Which one would the alarm connect to?
