carbon fiber ideas

i have about 25 yards of carbon fiber cloth i was wondering if anyone in southern california knows how to work with it and is interested in building or have any idea what we can due to customize our trucks i'll provide the carbon fiber ,please feel free to give me some ideas on what can be made

Sorry I can't help. I live in NC now. There is alot of literature out there for composites. You've got plenty to do something interesting. Keep it simple go for looks over weight loss. The engine cover would be a good start.

It's a vacuum process, for smaller pieces it's not too difficult. For larger pieces I've seen old refrigerators used, the compressor was made into a vacuum pump and door removed of the fridge. With it laying on it's back you can create a perforated work surface to cover the door opening and lay your mold and carbon fiber on top, then a solid cover on top cover the entire opening.
When you turn on the now vacuum pump it pulls all the air from the fridge thru the perforated work surface and and sandwiches the carbon fiber between your mold and cover, it also pulls the hardener thru the carbon fiber.

I know this is a terrible description of the process. I looked into doing some pieces for my veedub a few years back.
