Went to the dealer today and they dont sell any diff fluid, they get it in bulk. So what should I use on the LSD? RP? I got some of the addative though, they did have that.

Got the rear done today, was gonna do the front and transfer case but had to stop after I got the rear dfone to go help my buddy move. First time I have changed it and it has 43,000 ( I know, been puttin it off) I noticed a lot of shavings.
Everything went smooth, I lowered the spare to get more room. The auto store only had 75w-90 in mobile 1 synthetic so I went with valvoline 80w-90, it was all they had.

what is this LSD additive u r referrin to?? i was not aware this was available. i just bought the fluid to change for the front & rear diff from Oreilly's.

is there a certain type to get? is it just used for the rear, or can it be used for the front as well? and how much additive goes in with the fluid from the size additive u bought?

None goes into the front, and only in the rear if you have an LS diff. The addative comes in 4 ozs. containers. You need 4 to 8ozs. The stuff I use is the GM stuff sold at most auto stores.
