Been an avid reader here, but I hardly post. I have a 02 Tacoma 2.7L 4x4. I did do a search before starting a new thread, but no luck. The normal idle at cold start-up would be around 1500rpm then when it would warm up it would go down to 1000rpm normal idle. I was on vacation for a month and decided to take of the battery connection while it was parked for about 30 days. I came back put the battery back on and it started right away, but at the the cold start the rpm only went up to 1000rpm cold. Usually at cold start it would be at 1500rpm then warm up to 1000rpm. Now its the opposite. At cold its at 1000rpm and a constant 1500-1600 at normal idle. Any clue to what the problem is?? I already unplugged the battery again to maybe reset the computer, but it still same. Thanks in advance..

none except for crappy hub caps and floor mats.
don't know if I'd worry about it too much. I have the same engine and it idles differently depending on the weather and temp. Drive it for a few days and see what happens.

Thanks, Bob! I'll wait and see...Hopefully nothing major.
