Jacks stands 3 Ton or 6 Ton???

Going to pick up some jack stands online I know a 3 ton stand would work fine with our Tacoma's, but would there be any reason that I would want to go with the 6 ton stands??

6 ton! I just picked up a nice set at Advance Auto parts for 50 bucks. They are very solid and already had my truck on them last weekend!

Go big or go home! Better to buy a 1 size fits all.

There is a reason for 1 pair of both, and it it more height than wt capacity. 3 tons are fine for the rear axle or front crossmember. 6 tons will reach the frame rails for when you need to do suspension work.

So get both.

This ^^^^^^^^

My 3 tons are used only on the rear work. My 6 tons are for the fronts. The 3 tons wont touch the front because they aren't tall enough at full droop.
