    Are you looking for a bottle jack to replace the factory one in case you are on the side of the road? Floor jacks out of the question?

    Sears, (Black Friday but you don't actually have to go on Friday) for under $100 you can two jackstands and a floor jack rated for 3 tons, plus the creeper. I have had no problems with mine.

    thanks for your input guys. so i need/want a 3-ton jack, correct?
    i will keep an eye out for some good black friday deals

    Regarding my post in the other thread:

    Because you are 4wheel drive dc, you are right over 2 ton, so don't go less than 2.5 tons.
    I would still recommend the 3, but you could save a bit with a 2.5

    i used a 3ton bottle jk in truck.wasn't that expensive,at home i use floor jk,the 3ton fits in place on the 2008 acc cab.plus it has adj head to give more range.
