02 E locker Install Help

    Hello, i'm looking at getting a complete toyota e locker third member for my 02 tacoma. I know there is usually an ecu and safety protocols built into the ecu like not being to engage over 5mph and such, but is it possible to just run a power line to the locker and use my brain as a safety mech? any knowledge/ experience would be awesome.. i don't want to have to put a ton of wiring into this thing
