Wiring DPDT Switch W/Relay Help??

So I just ordered the parts to do my 4x4 swap in my prerunner, the parts I got are for an ADD and it comes with the push button TC know, I got a wiring diagram off of TTORA but I'm a little confused as to exactly interpret it.



BLUE Box: Stock Plug ?
RED Box: DPDT Switch
Black Box: Relay

Basically is the 30 on the relay going to the Batt. Ground ?
and where exactly would I wire the push button into because the diagram is confusing

What is the middle slot on the switch on the right hand side go to ? nothing ??

Also I dont want to wire in any of the lights that he has in the bottom of the stock switch.



The only light I want to wire is the green 4wd dash light

The link you provided will work for wiring any DPDT switch. Use the wiring as said in the directions. I know when wiring power windows you don't have to use a relay. You simply take any one of the middle prongs on the DPDT switch and wire and ground to it. With the other middle prong you can run a hot wire (preferably with a fuse) to a power constant. I don't know if you can do this in the situation you are in. You might want to do more research into it. Here is a diagram I have found all throughout the internet that shows wiring a DPDT switch to relays. I guess you would just swap the motor with what you are wanting to control. Hope this some insight you were looking for.
