Broken tranny shifter!!???

    2005 DCSB, 4x4, Auto. more to come...
    Today I got in my truck and went to shift out of park and the shifter broke in half stripping two blue wires, for the overdrive switch I assume, and now the truck is stuck in park. Has anyone ever heard of this or had it happen? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    After a trip to a local junkyard I acquired a complete tranny linkage and got it fixed up.
