Muffler Bearing Question

Well I got about 49,000 miles on my truck and I finally had to replace my muffler bearings. Some old man walked by as I was doing it and he told me that I should replace my clutch belt at the same time because they usually go out around the same time

Question is... Put in a stock clutch belt or should I put in a hi tension clutch belt since I'm running bigger tires and a lift?

I check my headlight fluid about once a month. My truck doesn't really use that much surprisingly... Especially considering I have HIDs

I've noticed my blinkers are starting to blink a little faster. I may be low on blinker fluid

I did notice a weird ping after I put the new bearings in. I think it's just coincidence that my piston return springs may be going out

yep, gotta be super careful and make sure you lube up the bolts real good, unicorn piss is recommended, synthetic, 60%corn, 35%grass,5% oats.
it has to eat that specific stuff to make the right weight lube.

While you are replacing that muffler bearing, make sure that your kanuter valve is not binding. A sticky kanuter valve can cause premature muffler bearing failure. You don't want to have to go back in and replace that muffler bearing again if you don't have to. You didn't mention if your Tacoma was a V6 or a 4 cylinder., but remember that the V6 has TWO muffler bearings in it, not just one. I am Sure that someone here will provide the parts diagram to show this. And PLEASE don't use those cheap aftermarket bearings. You are just asking for trouble. By the way, anyone out there have a first gen? I have been searching all over and cant find the blinker fluid reservoir! I am thinking the prior owner may have removed it.
