    Hey guys

Its time for a new clutch...mine squeaks, whines, and chatters like no other. I heard the new URD throwout bearing kit will cure the squeal. Mileage: 130k

What is the price for a replacement clutch (quality one) and new throwout bearing kit with the cost of labor? Anybody have any experience with this?

    Thanks,
    Mike

The URD TOB kit works great and fixes squeal. I'd like to know some clutch options and prices as well. Bump

This is old... but some more info would be great.

Is it worth doing it myself?

I paid about $350 for a Marlin Crawler Clutch Kit (don't think they have them for second Gens, but it gives you an idea) and new flywheel
About $350 to have a shop install it

    $700 said and done

Great, I think I'm going to tackle the job myself. Any recommendations on what clutches? Wanted to go with URD stage 3...I tow a 3500 pound boat a couple of times a week in the summer.

Probably gonna need to do my clutch soon. Also thinking of getting a URD stage 2 or 3. Please post up how the job goes and how you like the new clutch :)

Are you just going to machine the flywheel or replace it too? If you're replacing, with what? All i can find is stock and he URD aluminum ones. I wanted to get something a little heavier for wheelin...
