For those with After market UCA's (Camburg, TC, All Pro)

DO NOT USE A PETROLEUM BASED LUBE ON THE UNIBALL.
I dont care what anyone says, this causes much more harm than good. the lineing in the Uniball cup is Tefflon. Petrolium based lubes will carry fine dirt particles into the cup, and it will wear out FAST. Use a Dry Lube, like Tri-Flow, or some other quality Tefflon dry lube.

That stuff is awesome. I use it to lube my cams and carabiners on my climbing rack, and it always works like a charm.

How do I know when my UCA's need lube? I had a squeaks coming from my life springs but now theres a higher pitch squeak thats coming from up front. Just got my UCA's on this week, but also went offroading this morning and its starting acting up after. Also, how do I lube, just put the lube on the uniball?

Not sure what you mean by good but Ive been trying to do my own work lately, at least what seems "doable". I can work a screwdriver and a socket wrench. Dont have an impact one tho.

Ok... What Im going to tell you to do is pretty easy. If you are uncomfortable doing this, get a friend to help, or a Member in your area.

Jack up the front of the truck, and position a jack stand under the frame. Remove the front tire. Loosen the UCA bolt. Its the long one that attaches the UCA to the frame. After the UCA bolt is loose (do not remove the nut), pump some grease into the bushing. both sides. Then, Tighten the bolt to 90 lb-ft. Do the same for the other side, and see if that fixes the squeak.

sounds pretty easy to me. definitely will do tomorrow evening when I get home from school. BTW, Im guessing I would need an impact wrench to get it to 90Lb-ft?

With a 1/2" drive socket wrench, you should be able to get it. You'll need a wrench on the other end to make sure it doesnt turn. Like I said. If you have any doubts, get someone to help ya.

anybody know what kind of grease I need for the bushings? Or should I be using the same lube that goes on the uniball?
