I looked at them... my concern is that my clutch is fairly stiff clutch and I daily it... there clutches are heaver. I Have a performance clutch in my Scirocco (cable clutch not Hydro)and it's softer.

I've heard the Marlin isn't any stiffer, but I have no personal experience. All I know is that's the one I plan on using if mine ever goes out.

I got the Marlin kit. Was a bit hesitant to go aftermarket after installing a Centerforce on my old XJ. Was very impressed with the feel of the Marlin, softer than the stock one. No issues to date on holding power. No hesitation in buying the same again.

I'm about to purchase one of the Marlin's also. I have the 1600 LB in my trail rig, and it's great. I'll pick up the 1200 lb for my Tacoma.

yup. don't think they offer the 1600 for the 1st Gens. Not that I could find.

One thing that I wish I had done differently was ordering a flywheel at the same time. The garage that did the job for me ended up replacing it with who knows what and now the starter slips every so often. Probably rip into it and fix it myself one of these days.
