So I got in my truck today and bumped the little plastic box looking thing on the left side of the floorboard and the lid popped off and it seems broken. What is this thing and how can I fix it? Help!

If it is by the parking brake then it is the foot rest, which can be removed easily and snaped back on.

I think I broke it. I looked underneath and the pieces that look like it snaps back on look damaged.
