axle wrap. The fix is heavier duty leaf springs.

Does it shift hard on acceleration from 1st to 2nd? My truck began shifting hard from 1st to 2nd. The CEL came on and it was a P0758 code. (shift solenoid B electrical). After several days it got worse and then wouldn't shift into OD. I took it to a trusted transmission shop and they replaced the solenoid. $129 labor--$190 for solenoid.

it turned out to be axle wrap. my tranny shifts smoothly through all the gears. so i went and bought helper springs for $37 and it fix it. they just bolt right on
