Switches on the Steering Wheel

Hey, I am going to put a switch on the steering wheel, but I haven't found a great thread that shows a safe way to get wires in there.

I found this:

But it doesn't show how the wires get into the wheel. If anyone has found a better thread explaining how to get wires safely into the steering wheel, or if you know how, that would be great.

If not, I will explore, try not to break anything, and post pictures afterwards.

 

I'm pretty sure you need to change out the clockspring to one that has factory controls

 

Ah, and I suppose running a new wire through the existing clockspring is a no go? Just trying to find options.
