Hey everyone, I have a 2007 toyota tacoma 2.7 auto that I've been having troubles with. Few days ago I noticed when I go to start my truck in the morning or after work, it doesn't start. I turn the key, I hear a click and nothing. When I turn the key a second time, the truck starts up with no hesitations. Does anybody know what could be causing this issue? After getting it started and driving it, I shut the truck off, and turn it on again with no problems. It seems to only be doing this when left alone for a certain period of time. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Sounds like when my starter failed on my 07 2.7. It only had 43K miles on it, which seemed premature for failure to me. But, replacing it yourself is pretty easy- 2 bolts & 2 electrical connections. Did it in less than 30 minutes in my driveway.
