so i bought my tacoma about a week ago and my truck red paint seems to be quite a bit lighter than every other red tacoma i see. i asked somebody why and they said the paint has faded. my trucks a 1996 with 146k miles on it. is there anyway i could fix this or would i just have to repaint the whole thing?

Paint fade can be a through and through issue. You could try to buff a top layer off, but then you have even less paint that you started with. I would just look into getting it repainted (if you are going to keep it a long time).

Let us know what happens. :)
