Ok guys, I have a 2012 4X4 Sport with 30K on the odo. 2 months ago I installed an Icon suspension kit complete with UCA's, and the Dakar springs. I installed 3 degree shims. On take off I noticed a shudder from 7-10mph, so I installed the toytec CB drop, which didn't help and actually caused vibrations at 17-20mph, so that was removed. I then noticed the shudder would completely disappear when 4X4 was engaged, so I jumped on the ECGS bushing and installed it tonight. It did help the shudder by about 50%, but is still noticeable, and still disappears with 4X4 engaged. Now I don't know what to do besides live with it, any help or advice from those with experience would be appreciated.

Is it possible you installed the shims backwards, causing binding in the rear u-joints?

I don't think so, I angled them the way the axle is so the thin side towards the front of the truck. Thanks.

I had the same issue. Ended up with a custom drive shaft to solve it.

Is it real bad? I get a little vibration between 35-40 after installing bilsteins shocks and setting them too 2.5". I live with it, hasn't gotten any worse.

Does the shudder happen when you accelerate quickly as well as gradually?

More prominent when quickly accelerating, still noticeable but not as bad on gradual acceleration. I'm thinking a 1-piece is my only option left as mentioned but I would rather avoid it. I don't recall if it was worse without any shims, but I may remove them now that the springs have settled and see what that feels like.

Have you double-checked the u-bolts for tightness?

Yea I checked and torqued them properly, have 3 degree shims and CB drop that I have tried all combos of and just ended up selling the CB drop cause it made vibes worse, and the shims are installed correctly as well. I haven't tried a 2 degree shim yet so I'm not certain how much that would help if any

Anyone tried or currently have the Beefed Taco CB Drop? They claim a 99% success rate, but at $78 shipped, it leaves me hesitant. I literally have tried everything except a lower CB drop than the OME one. Curious if anyone has thoughts on this?

I had these same issues and tried probably 50 different variations of carrier bearing spacers and shims finally I removed the rear lifting block and just went with a leveled out look and vibes are gone

Well its called a 3" lift ....but it consists of a one inch lifting block in the rear and 2 1/2" spacers in the front shock. I kept the front spacers in and removed the rear block now all my driveline vibes are gone . I did the front diff droop and the ecgs bushing and still have some 40mph drone but I think I can finally live with it and be happy
