Just recently purchased an 07 Toyota Tacoma Double cab but noticed that the drivers side headlight seems to be aimed a little lower than the passenger side.

Ive noticed that behind the headlight casing that there are 2 screws (8mm) located diagonally at each other. Ive tried adjusting both but seems that either I get the level that I desire but the light is aimed close to the middle - or I get the headlight aimed on the proper direction, but the light is aimed too low.

Any ideas about this would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

Since your truck is brand new, I would take it to the dealership. They should adjust them for you under warranty since it is a safety issue. Otherwise, I would have to look into how to go about that. If the dealership doesn't help, let me know, and I will look into it some more for you. :)

Turns out that the headlights can only be aimed vertically - not horizontally... Anywho, I got it aimed a little higher for highway driving purposes but still not aimed to my satisfaction. Ill play around with the adjustments and see the best compromise.

Cool, since I put on the leveling spacers, I have been getting flashed at night.
because the headlights are pointing up to high. If I click on the brights I can search for squirrels in the trees. :p I have been wondering how to adjust them. Thanks!

Hate to bump an almost year old thread, but those links don’t help any. Can anyone share how they aligned their headlights?
