Hey all, New guy here, I've got a 2000 Tacoma V6. Starts no problem but the starter won't disengage. Thoughts?

May have to pull it, clean it up and lube it. Or just replace it. Its an easy job with regular tools.

Welcome to the forum. You may need to see if the bolts that hold the starter on are tight. If they are, your starter bendix may be going out. You can get your starter rebuilt locally or you can fix it yourself if you are mechanically able. Or you can go buy a replacement starter as mentioned. Good Luck with that.
