Brake Parts

Hey all,

I'm looking to pretty much change out all my brakes components front and back on my '04 Prerunner. (Except calipers).

I have 134k in mileage. If I remember right Toyota wants over $700 for parts alone at the dealership. I don't have to use Toyota but I want something at least as good or better. I don't mind spending some extra money to get quality parts.

So basically front discs and pads, rear shoes and drums and probably a spring kit for the rears.

Any suggestions on where to get Toyota OEM parts or at least something equal or better in quality?

I don't drag race, drift, road race or go mudding. I just want a sound quality braking system when I get done and not have to mess with it for a really long time. Any suggestions for parts resources would be appreciated.

There are others, too... that is an awful lot of money the stealership is qouting you...

 

Thanks Spaceman! I went back and added up the quote, it was $717. I'll look through those links.

 

Let me know what it adds up to, because I am pretty sure that is awfully high!
