With sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine.

I just installed 4.56's and I love it. MUCH quicker off the line, yet to see how it performs off-road.. thats next weekend. Only downside is that at 70MPH I'm doing about 2500 RPM. But I can live with that. If the 4.30's weren't so much $$ thats probably the route I would have gone... but $600 a set for the front ring and pinion, no thanks.
i kinda figured a 4:10 or 4:30's would be perfect on/off road for our trucks with 33's. 4:56 is a tad over geared, but I prefer it that way.

I use to do 85 around town all day and cars would still pass me now that I lifted the truck I can still do 85 but its alot harder and I think Im doing about a 100 now so I go about 70 and I still pass cars so I dont know all I know is that Im getting some 456 for my ride

how is the gas mileage with the new gears on your trucks and how tall of a tire I have 33in tires on mine

I re geared my Dodge when I switched to 32's. My MPG were 12 and they went UP to 14 when I put in 4:10's (up from 3:55's).
