I haven't bought my Tacoma yet but I plan on lifting it 3" with the bilstein 1500 and add a leaf kit. I would like to know if i can add a 2" spacer lift on top of the suspension lift to give my truck a 5" lift. Can you do this & Pros/Cons? 2ND GEN TACOMA

You can its highly unadvised. It will be top heavy body lifts arent that great. I would stick with 3 inch suspension lift or if you want more do it right and do a 6 inch instead of suspension and body. Whats the reason for wanting 5 inches just curious

Id like a 6 inch lift but they are much more exspensive than the 3" lifts. Maybe ill go with 3" lift + 1" or 1.5" body lift.

It will be cheaper for you to buy a 6 inch, labor on a 3 inch isnt horrible, but labor on a body lift is alot of $$$$

Are you talking about putting spacers on the coils or doing an actual body lift? I wouldn't advise either one but you're going to have different consequences with spring spacers vs. body spacers.

Think he means adding a body to suspension that the thread title, but the question in the post seems like hes asking if he can add spacers to the 3 inch lift. The cv angles would be very interesting.

Some guys on here......I believe homertaco is adding a 1" BL to his 3' suspension through another guy on here from New Jerz. I was actually pondering this as well.......a 1" BL is not a lot but will give ya some more lift and allow ya to stuff some bigger tars in there too.
