My 1997 Tacoma began to run a high idle, between 2000 and 2500 rpm's with intermittent surging 800 rpm to 2000 rpm for about 4 surges. I ran a diagnostic and it coded a bad O2 sensor I replaced the sensor and it still has the problem. Any suggestions? P.S. I took it to the dealership service and spent $400.00 for them to tell me they had no idea.
