As a new 2014 Tacoma owner I have a quick question for you veteran owners.....I was wondering about how loud the truck ticks....is this normal for a Tacoma?! I am coming from a sport sedan so it may just take some getting use it. As for the Tacoma.....I have been missing it owning a truck!

    Thanks

Yes. There is a simple mod somewhere on here to isolate it with a small rubber washer.

See the ticking engine mod under the DIY mods sticky above.

The ticking is nothing to worry about, their just a loud engine. If it stops ticking you have a problem.:D

    Thanks,
