not to my knowledge, both say 150psi. the one from outback is the only one that can be adjusted by the supplyer

I run a 40lb nitrogen tank. Set the regulator to around 300 psi or so and fill tires damn quick, as well as air shocks. I could fill my 48's from 0 to 5 psi after wheelin' in about 15 seconds each. Does pretty well running air tools and costs about $13.00 per fill. Works for me.

Exactly, so that doesn't solve the problem with running different psi. Yes, you can have them set it to 90psi like what you're supposed to run for air tools. But then you're going to spending forever airing up tires.

It sounds like you might as well just get a compressor, because if you don't want to use a variable regulator you aren't going to get any of the benefits of a c02 tank other than it not being ran by your truck.

im just not looking to spend that much on a regulator right now. the only thing i would need a tool for is a grinder because i go through so many fucking alternators and some of them have to be lightly grinded to fit into the bracket. other then that i always bring my Milwaukee impact.

Really just depends on how much psi you're going to be running. Whenever I ran 120psi or more, my welding regulator would freeze over because it couldn't handle that much c02.

I generally would recommend a regulator just to be safe.

but i would get me by to start with. that way i can just wait a little while to buy a regulator. also if im able to get a cheap tank from the welding shop ill have a little extra money to spend on a regulator

I tend to not want to risk it with stuff like a c02 tank when doing something wrong here can create a bomb haha

I'd say just hold off until you have the money to do it right.

If you're referring to the 48's they were just over 375lbs each. They were some heavy bitches and loved to break stuff.

its not a risk its made for co2, but it maxes out at 40CFH which is the equivalent to about 10psi from what i read. so thats a no go

    No, not the 48" tires.........the 40# tank.

Whole reason I went with Co2 was the weight savings vs the same amount of nitro. I'm also in a state where you can drive 50 miles in any direction and find a gas station so the 15# is fine for me.

Never really considered a weight difference between Nitrogen and CO2, would've thought it is fairly nominal.
