    Hello all,
my 2002 toyota tacoma 3.4 just stalled today while driving. After several minutes it was able to start up again. Ran for about 5 minutes and stalled again. I could not start it after several trys and I called a tow truck. After the tow truck dropped off my truck it started again but I shut it off and now doing research. Nothing new- no changes- I have 1/2 tank of gas!!! Where do I begin??? Thank you in advance! Joe Q

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Try another fuel pump relay, maybe. Just a guess.

    CEL on?

When in a no-start condition, verify if you are getting a spark at the plug. This will eliminate (or indicate) an ignition problem.

    Stalling update,
I was at a shop and let the truck run for a half hour and it did not stall, some of that time I was driving around the parking lot to see if it would stall and it ran???? CEL is good (not on ) and I am not sure if it will stall when I am on the road! Could anything be starting to fail ????I know its hard to find something when it is running!! So, I ran it for that half hour and drove home for another 30 minutes and it ran great! So, I guess I will wait and see if it fails and to Rick, I will check for spark if it stalls again. Thanks everyone,
    Joe Q

    Update,
Thank you for all your replys. I just happened to stumble upon the stalling problem and it was a loose wire connected to my ignition control module.I just happened to put my head down from being bummed out and my eyes saw this wire pulled out just enough to know something was wrong. Thanks again. Joe Q

    Hello
I have an 02 Tacoma v6 and I am getting a P0420 ( 1 of 2 and 2 of 2 ) code. Both say cataltstic efficancy below threshhold bank 1. I replaced both sensors last February with aftermarket ones but this code is back. Whats your thoughts? I reset the CEL and it lasted about 400 miles.Visual inspection under the truck the wires look good but any tests to be sure before I start replacing parts! Thanks, Joe
