Weird glitch happens where my truck will not start without the left turn down. When I bought the truck, I was told this is a security feature, which is obviously not true. I didn't really care at the time and have gotten used to it now. I've never had any problems starting it, but was curious if anyone else has this issue, has heard of it, or know what causes this?

Never heard of that type of security feature. What year is your truck?

Someone added it to the truck...
I've seen a lot of different ways that they make this as a "kill switch" feature...
It should be reversible if you find where they made the connections on the dash

My grandmother's Buick had this when she bought it used also. Like Jerez said, someone got creative with their kill switch install.

    Obviously it is true.
I see them come through quite often. It is aftermarket.
    Also
Have to turn the headlights on.
    Push the e-brake.
    Buckle the seatbelt
    Turn the fog lamps on.
I'm sure there is a system plummed in
    Like Jerez and LC said.

I didn't try. She actually liked it and wanted to keep it.
