power steering noise 96 2.4

    96 2.4L tacoma
    Thinking about putting a tranny gcooler
    Hi was wondering if anyone can help. My 96 2.4 Tacoma makes a noise some times when I turn left or right. The belts look new and it does not
    make the grinding noise when the bearings are going. I have put 8000
    miles on it with no problems. Also it's not the noise of a slipping belt. It mostly does it when I first start it up. Any idea's ( fluid is full)
