So my A/C has been cycling not been cooling and cycling the mag clutch for maybe two weeks, i replace the relay but still no luck, so I just got an estimate today to fix it.. Looks like the A/C is locked up and is going to have to be rebuilt completely, and it's going to cost $2400 to rebuild the whole A/C.

I'm so sick to my stomach to have to put this on a credit card after i just spent my entire bonus on taking a dent out of my debt. This is how much i was planning to save to get a 3'' lift and new tires and now i'm in the hole big time. I had my guys check my fluid just 2 months ago and they said everything was looking good, and i don't have the expertise to check my own freon (if that was the case). I'm angry but mainly just feeling paralyzed. :(

sorry i just had to vent. but this really sucks.

new compressor is under 300 bucks. Get the parts, put them on, then take it to get charged.

What else do you need? The compressor is the heart, and the only part that can seize up.
