First let me start with I searched and couldn't find this so if I missed I apologize. I did my first oil change, I'm a little untrusting of dealerships so I'm doing my own, and I noticed this white milking build-up in the bottom of my coolant reservoir. I took my truck in for its 5k maintenance, minus the oil change, and told them about it and showed the picture. The service advisor seemed unworried about it but said they'd look at it. When the truck was done I had to ask about the deposits, leading me to believe he didn't tell them, and he said the techs didn't think it was an issue.

So after all that back story is this a normal thing and I'm blowing this out of proportion or should I be taking it back for service. I have tons of warranty so that's not an issue. Thanks for all the help.

Could be calcium buildup. If it's pink then you have an issue. If it bothers you, flush and fill with 50/50 antifreeze.

Pink does not mean transmission fluid is leaking into it.

    Toyota coolant is pink/red....

I thought that it was trans fluid mixing that makes pink milkshake. And isn't antifreeze red or green.

Thanks for the opinions. I'm gonna bring it in tomorrow to get looked at. The picture isn't the best quality but the deposits are white with some black specks in them. I basically want Toyota to acknowledge this exists so when my warranty goes out and it becomes an issue I've at least got something to argue, with.
