Hi, I bought a 96 Tacoma, and the guy I got it from does not pick up his cell on me, so my issue is he must have stuck on this truck a bumper for another year, and I need to know what year it is so I can order filler plates that go under the headlights.

He did a Micky mouse job on the body work, the front was pushed in more then I thought so I had a guy fix it, but when I went to order the filler plates I realized the bumper is not from a 1996 Tacoma

So if anyone knows what year bumper I have please let me know the truck had 98K on it, and the frame is good, I plan to under coat it, since I now know all about the rusty frames I had a 1994 for 16 years and had zero rust, and like a dope I thought well all Toyota pickups must be like that LOL

Looks just like mine, except that the corner lights in the bumper are amber.

Could be, what year is yours? And does the spot where the filler plates go under the head lights look the same, or not, I bought 96 filler plates, but they would not fit. I have amber light bulbs inside the bumper signal lights

Here's what a '96 looks like. Your headlights, grill, bumper and filler are different.
