    Hi TacomaWorld,

My first post, first I'll say I've had multiple questions that have been answered by reading the forum, so many dumb questions I haven't posted. I know this topic is already really well covered but I need to ask anyway because I'm a picky perfectionist...

I'm installing a relay to power a device in my 2014 Tacoma and I want it to switch on/off with the ignition in the ACC position. I've found a few fuses that switch on when I turn the ignition to the on position (EFI is one) but I haven't found one that switches on with the key in the Accessory position. Basically what I'd like to do is have the device come on and off the same as the factory radio does but the factory radio fuse positions have power all the time.

Do you guys know if there is a spot on the fuse block that switches with the accessory position that maybe I've overlooked or should I just pack it in and use one that is tied to the on position? Or is there another source of switched power I should be looking at that will behave the way I want. The relay will require very little power to operate (probably sub 300mw).

Any tips or hints are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The stock radio comes on with the ACC circuit. You could tap into that.

see page 459 in your owner's manual. i'm using the ACC fuse (#4).

need to buy one of these for a clean install

Bussmann ATM Fuse Tap - 10 Amps for the extra tap and your can drop in a 7.5A fuse to protect the ACC circuit

That was perfect. I installed a fuse tap on the ACC fuse and ran the wire back out the firewall to the relay which is mounted inline with my heavier power wires. I think before I was looking for something under the hood and wasn't even considering the other fuse block.

    Thanks for the help!
