2001 pre runner Tacoma door wont open

    I own a 2001 Tacoma Pre runner double cab.
    My front seat passenger door wont open from inside and out. It unlocks but once i try opening the door with the handle the lock looks like it goes back down and locks itself.
    What can i try to do?
    Is it possible to take out the panel with the door closed?
