    I have a 07 Tacoma, 4WD, Standard trans, 4 door.
This vehicle has a single audible tone when it's put in reverse. Lately this same tone (single tone)has been coming on anytime the brake is pressed. Also when the left turn signal is applied I get the same tone (multiple tones) but not when using the right turn signal. Also get the tone when applying the emergency flashers (multiple tones). None of these conditions exist if the vehicle is in reverse. Any ideas? All exterior lights are working.

Need more info on this "tone" you mention. Is it a buzz inside the cab, a beep outside, a humm, more details. Is it coming from the engine compartment, underneath, outside, from the rear...? Does it sound like it has an external speaker or alarm type siren??

If you're not the first owner check inside cab/ under hood for the remnants of previous owners aftermarket alarm system or some other aftermarket electronic device causing interference. Maybe?
