The parking brake handle on my 03 Tacoma will not fully release.
It releases the brakes but does not fully seat, so the parking brake light stays on. When I push the handle in, the light goes out but it feels like a spring pushes the handle back out a 1/4 inch or so and then the light comes back on. I can't seem to see where the problem is. Help!

Thanks for the information and the link.
My Tacoma is a 2WD, V6 with automatic transmission.
I will take a look underneath tomorrow and see if the manual transmission information applies.

    Thanks!!!
