I have an '06 TRD Off-Road. I remove a switch blank that I'm going to replace with a BlitzPro switch for my driving lights.

I remove the blank and find a mystery connector plugged into the back.

I pull it out and find the connector wired to 4 wires. I believe the green and green /white are dash illumination/ground, but I'm not sure what the other two connect.

so my question is... what the hell is this mystery connector for? I'm planning to tap into it to illuminate the independent LED in my switches.

I ran into this same connector in my '07. I have no idea what it is but hope someone chimes in!

I just bought an '06 TRD Off-Road and noticed I had the same wire/connector, except mine was just hanging in front of the fuse box. I have been trying to find what it was for and this is the only thing I've found on it so far. Anybody know?

Edit: Apparently I wasn't looking hard enough yet, cause I found where apparently it is the wiring for DAC, which my truck doesn't have but I guess all trucks must be just wired the same from the factory. Looks like it's not a simple plug-n-play though to simply add that switch to get DAC. It will light up, so there is power to it, but the functionality isn't there.

That position is the traction button. The. Middle is DAC.
