A/C failed on 2010 Tacoma

    My A/C stopped working a few months ago. First a squeeling noise then the light on the A/C button blinks. Then for the last while no squeeling, only the blinking light. I have received an A/C unit from Amazon but it's not installed yet. Here's what's really puzzling. This morning our outside temperature was several degrees below zero Celsius (Canada) and to my surprise my A/C was working. No blinking light and I had cold air blowing. Within 30 minutes it failed again after driving for awhile. Do you think the outside temperature had anything to do with my A/C working again?
