I just noticed another noise coming from my 2006 Tacoma. It just started making this noise, and it happens when I turn the steering wheel. It sounds like something needs lube, and is a squeaky nose.

Nothing is leaking, and Toyota replaced the steering shaft that is next to the engine block, so I'm not sure what it might be.

    Any ideas?

Wheel bearings or lower ball joints. Start looking there...my lower ball joint were making the same noise...replaced them and now no noise

Did you ever fix this issue? I have a 2014 with 30,000 miles and I get that annoying squeaky noise when turning like when parking and stuff, not so much noticeable while driving. But yeah, just sounds like something just needs a quick spray of some lube or something... Anyone please reply.

Thanks for the response! I discovered that it was my aftermarket UCA, the ball joint were dry as f***. After I hit it with a little Teflon lubricant, noise gone. It was getting loud too. Thanks.
