I was wondering if there was any way to disable the power steering pump. Their is a crack in my steering rack so fluid just keeps leaking out every time I fill it. I'm only 17 so I have to save up to fix the rack. Is there any way I can just disable the pump so I don't destroy it. Taking the belt off maybe?

    Thanks

If your truck has a separate belt for the PS, then, yeah,
you can remove that belt. If you don't have the tools or
ability to remove it, then just take a knife and cut it off.
