rear camera relocation questions

I don't have rear view camera now, but the vehicle is prewired. I have a rearview w/display coming from another member this week.

Now I need a camera.

1) are their any aftermarket cameras that will easily adapt to the Tacoma harness? Source reference please?

2) has anyone has relocated the camera to another position, say the bumper? Tag frame, other? I'd want discrete and fairly secure.

Reason for relocation......... while the tailgate position is great a lot of the time, it's worthless when the gate is down to haul kayaks, bicycles, lumber, etc, as it's aiming at the ground. And those times are when it would be the most useful. Particularly backing with the bed extender in place and the yaks loaded.

So any help out there in this area?

Surely someone has futzed with this. Seems like everything else on our trucks get modded by this crowd

 

Can't believe no one in TW land has any info to share on this. I know you aren't a bunch of soccer moms just cruising around with you tailgates up......
